Amy Williams

Amy Williams founded eGirl Power 16+ years ago and led the IRS-approved 501(c)(3) through its signature programs and events, spearheading initiatives to "Educate, Empower and Elevate" students and establishing the partnership with the Center for Public Safety that created the Center for Public Safety for Women (CPSW) to combat gender-based violence. Under her leadership the organization ran Project Pay It Forward across 40+ states, a cybersecurity program teaching online safety and career pathways, and an Awards Gala at The Yale Club NYC Grand Ballroom. The organization has been featured in USA Today, Yahoo News, The Philanthropy Journal and The Institute for Research on Unlimited Love.

Williams has more than 20 years of experience building applications and securing systems. Her graduate work and professional background span digital forensics, cybersecurity policy, cyber investigations, and education. She writes for the homeland security community.

Williams authored Mi9 Team: Unity Among Differences, which reached #1 in Amazon's Best Sellers Rank in 2016. The book and her nonprofit were featured on Harvard University's Official Site of Multiple Intelligences at the invitation of Dr. Howard Gardner, the Harvard Graduate School of Education professor who created the Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
